id love to verse you ermy. where do you play? i use spehhs mehreens

If I were to play, it’d be in Erie, PA. This is a sort of “I need to build up to this” list. However, I’m no longer playing WH at all.
I prefer Warmachine or Hordes instead, and will not be going back to 40K at all.

If this is competitive I would just use twin-linked devourers for both Hive Tyrants. Also Biovores are Carnifexes are overpriced for the expected punch your looking for. That’s why other players use Trygons or Mawlocs as they have more wounds and are easier to get into enemy lines

For the Heavies, I was originally looking to use 3 full squads of Biovores to spam spore mines into/in front of the enemy before charging into enemy lines. Someone recommended Carnifexes too, so that’s why they went in this list. I’m going to edit the list again eventually, what would be your recommendation for my Heavies? I have 620 points to play with if I give my #2 Tyrant double twin-linked devourers and eliminate my current Heavy Support.

Most competitive Tyranid players take the Trygon. They go for upgrading into a Prime for added synapse which every Tyranid army can’t have enough of. The Deep Striking and it’s ability to shoot make it usable quickly then attacking units the following turn, makes it an immediate threat and get some of the heat of your Hive Tyrants. I prefer the Tyrannofex as you have it turn one set up in the front of your army. Upgrade with Rupture Cannon and opponents worry about the tank busting it brings [although this is unreliable] but most important is the model is huge and hides other MC behind it, Give it Feel No Pain from a Trevigon and it’s big trouble when it closers to vehicles.
The cheapest I like is the Mawloc. It plays more to psychology than actual real abilty to cause a lot of damage to opponent lines. But the Mawloc can keep an opponent from castling and by chance it destroys something it draws a good deal of attention. Hope that helps

          It does, thanks!

I’ve edited this list by removing the Biovores and Carnifexes, I’ve replaced the Tyrant #2’s weapons with two twin-linked devourers. I’ve added a Ravener Brood (because I had 120 points left), a Tyrannofex w/Rupture Cannon, and a Trygon Prime.
